Adding noise to texture the pictures is a nice touch! Using blues to show that it's dark is a clever trick! The illustration with the phone was blurry, is that because you would not be able to see good in the dark?
This was a cool story! I loved how the illustrations work together and the color scheme of the game suits it. Would have loved to see the Spider Queen but perhaps not seeing her is part of what makes her scary.
I absolutely love the story! The game was unique, immersive, and it was easy to understand. It all tied together well and the art was a really nice touch too. I also think that there should be a play again button because the game was very fun!
A nice, cohesive story! I like the central theme of compassion! And all of the illustrations are very cohesive and pleasant; I like the color scheme! My only suggestion would be to add a "play again" button at the endings, as it kind of pulled me out of the immersion when I died and could just back up and be alive again.
This is a really interesting story that really plays into player empathy and thoughtful choices. Going forward, you could start to these characters more as to create more reasoning behind the choices that are made by the player. I'm interested as to where you take the visuals to support this story. Keep up the good work!
Im so impressed you were able to create a cohesive story, with multiple endings and with a core moral choice to make (save the kid). Having the option to do the right thing on more than one occasion is thoughtful, and is a good way to think about next steps: Consider building solid arguments not only for the right choices, but for the wrong ones too, so that it really feels like a challenge. Perhaps you can give a bit of a back story to the main character that justifies a potentially "selfish" behavior, or perhaps you can further characterize the Spider Queen and her realm to make the player want to stay (at their own peril). In any case, this is a solid start. Good job!

Some pictures look very blurry, I'm not sure if this is deliberate or the picture is too large? Maybe make the picture smaller?
There is a page of pictures with flowers, and there is no END or game over on that page, which is a bit confusing if this is over.
Everything else is fine! The picture is great.
The story is really interesting!
The color palette was also a nice choice! It fits the mood of the game pretty well!
It would have been nice to have all the paths have illustrations, just to keep things consistent, but I still enjoyed this either way! :)
